We regard poverty as a violation of human rights that prevents people from enjoying their social, economic, and other rights. At Bismillah, we focus our work on some of the United States’ most distressed and under-served Muslim communities living in poverty and where opportunities are limited. We’re dedicated to serving the country's most vulnerable individuals and families by addressing the leading causes of poverty and empowering communities. From addressing short-term requirements faced by the Muslim communities in the US to tackle long-term issues, Bismillah works to alleviate poverty through various steps and solutions.
