Sadaqa

Zakat, Almsgiving in Islam, Charity in Islam
“Verily my Lord enlarges and restricts the Sustenance to  His servants as He pleases: and nothing do ye spend in the least (in His Cause), but He replaces it: for He is the Best of those who grant Sustenance.”
- Quran (Sa’ Ba 34: 39)

Sadaqah, Voluntary Donations, Voluntary Charity, SadaqaUnlike Zakat, Sadaqah donations are an entirely voluntary charity for Muslims that can be performed anytime. With Bismillah, you can donate Sadaqah in any amount you wish and donate it on behalf of another person. The donated amount is then given or used to fulfill the needs of the needy and less privileged. At Bismillah, our Sadaqah Program is designed carefully to offer opportunities that consistently fulfill our worship activity of Sadaqah.

Our Sadaqah program is structured around its root terminology to honor God consistently for the Blessings. The very term, Sadaqa or Sadaqah, means an act of giving something from yourself that can also provide you with benefits. As the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, “The best Sadaqa is one that is consistent, even if it is small.” Our Sadaqah donation program invites your contributions with benefits in this and the next life. Therefore, we encourage everyone to participate in our donation program.

Allah would reward us for the Sadaqah donation we give sincerely to Him:

  • Improvements in employment or business ventures
  • Improvements in business ventures
  • Blessings in family life
  • Protection from calamities
  • Protection from ill health and quick recovery, and much more
